Inviting Bakery Window

Yesterday my mother and I went to Niagara-on-the-Lake which is a quaint, beautiful town of shops and restaurants and tourists and parks and beautiful flowers everywhere. Its only about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls another lovely spot. We shopped and walked and had a hard time trying to decide where we would have our lunch…and it was especially difficult to choose when passing a window such as this one….

NOTL is such a busy place everyday in the summer but especially during the long weekends throughout the summer and certain times like peach picking times. You can pick your own peaches and cherries and nectarines from the trees and they are so fresh and juicy. They hold a Peach Festival in August and serve up “tons” of ice cream with “tons” of fresh, sliced peaches. Yum. You can take a ride along the streets in a horse and buggy. Horse and Buggy Ride

The flowers and planters were beautiful. Everything is ahead in growth in that area as well.

beautiful yellow flowers…Red Begonias…
